Huacheng Winery Co., Ltd. of Maotai Town was established in 1999. It is a wholly-owned private winery specializing in the production, brewing, and packaging of sauce-aroma baijiu. Since its establishment, the company has obtained all necessary legal permits and holds its own independently registered brands, including Runtai, Guoren Yan, and Wuxing Long. The company currently occupies a site covering nearly 60 mu, located in the central area of Maotai Town, which spans 7.5 square kilometers. It has five operational workshops totaling approximately 26,000 square meters. The company boasts 238 fermentation pits and 28 sets of distillation equipment; each pit can process over 30,000 jin of grain, with an annual grain input of about 3,800 tons. The company produces roughly 2,900 tons of sauce-aroma daqu baijiu and about 1,300 tons of suisha baijiu annually.

The facility is equipped with 238 fermentation pits and 28 sets of distillation apparatus; each pit can hold over 30,000 jin of grain, with an annual grain input of about 3,800 tons. The company produces roughly 2,900 tons of sauce-aroma Daqu liquor and approximately 1,300 tons of Suisha liquor annually. The company’s wine storage facilities span 25,000 square meters and comprise nine warehouses capable of storing up to 7,500 tons of wine. Additionally, there is an open-air wine storage tank area with a capacity of 5,000 tons, bringing the company’s total storage capacity to over 17,000 tons.

The company has a packaging workshop covering 1,200 square meters dedicated to the production of finished alcoholic beverages, equipped with two automated bottling lines capable of producing between 500 and 1,500 bottles of finished products per day. It also boasts a packaging materials warehouse spanning 2,500 square meters. The company owns an independent Daqu production facility covering 3,000 square meters, which can fully meet the factory’s annual demand for Daqu. The company employs 180 specialized brewing workers, 5 master brewers, 40 professional Daqu makers, 1 Daqu master, and 80 packaging workers, along with over 320 support and administrative staff in total.

Currently, our company has completed all construction work at the base distillery, enabling us to carry out base spirit production and finished-product bottling operations smoothly. All related supporting facilities have also been fully put in place.

The company also owns 100 mu of legally acquired land in the Tanchang Industrial Park within this city, which is earmarked for the company’s long-term plans, including the construction of office buildings, packaging facilities, a base liquor storage warehouse, and related supporting infrastructure.

Since its establishment, the company’s sauce-aroma baijiu has been highly praised by its domestic peers. It boasts its own unique blending techniques and is overseen long-term by nationally certified blending experts who rigorously ensure quality control. Moreover, the company is equipped with sophisticated testing facilities and employs specialized laboratory personnel, enabling it to meet the diverse taste and quality demands of the domestic market.
