On the afternoon of November 13, 2020, the 3rd Zunyi Veterans Entrepreneurship and Employment Exchange Conference, hosted by Huacheng Liquor Industry (Group), brought together efforts and rallied support to promote high-quality development of veteran affairs in the new era.

On the afternoon of November 13, 2020, the 3rd Zunyi Veterans’ Entrepreneurship and Employment (Renhuai) Exchange Conference was held at Huacheng Winery (Group) Co., Ltd. in Maotai Town. The conference was jointly organized by the Zunyi Patriotic Support for the Military Promotion Association and the Renhuai Patriotic Support for the Military Promotion Association, and co-organized by Huacheng Winery (Group) Co., Ltd. in Maotai Town and Guizhou Shuangjing New Era Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. Leaders from the Guizhou Provincial Patriotic Support for the Military Promotion Association, leaders from the Zunyi Patriotic Support for the Military Promotion Association, representatives from Zunyi enterprises, and members of the leadership team of the Renhuai Patriotic Support for the Military Promotion Association attended the conference.

The conference focused on “Promoting High-Quality Development of Veteran Affairs in the New Era” and engaged in in-depth discussions. At the meeting, Han Jianhua, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Guizhou Provincial Association for Patriotic Support of the Military, stated that veteran affairs are an important component of the Party and the state’s undertakings. He highlighted the "Law on the Protection of Veterans," emphasizing that this law was personally planned and promoted by the General Secretary as part of a major strategic initiative. It reflects the Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, which has coordinated both domestic and international situations and made a significant decision aimed at fostering the integrated development of economic and national defense construction. This law fully demonstrates the Party Central Committee’s deep care and great affection for veterans. All veterans must study this landmark law thoroughly, safeguard their legitimate rights and interests in accordance with the law, closely follow policy developments, face the challenges of entrepreneurship squarely, stay firmly committed to their entrepreneurial goals, and avoid taking detours. Tong Mingzhi, Vice President of the Guizhou Provincial Association for Patriotic Support of the Military, expressed full support for the conference, praising its practical relevance, distinctive features, and strong spirit of innovation.

He also shared the military service experience and entrepreneurial journey of Mr. Lou Yong, Chairman of Huacheng Liquor Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. In March 1979, Mr. Lou Yong enthusiastically answered the call of his motherland and joined the army, serving in a certain unit of the Yunnan Army. After being discharged in 1981, he returned home and embarked on his entrepreneurial journey. Mr. Lou Yong sought guidance from seasoned winemaking experts who had years of experience in the field and taught himself business management techniques. Relying on his own hardworking spirit and tenacious perseverance, he led Huacheng Liquor Industry onto a path of sustained development. General Manager Lou Fanglin stated that the (Group) will continue to uphold its employment policy of giving priority to hiring veterans and assume its corporate responsibility for addressing veterans’ employment issues.
